    Choose Windows, Mac, Android, or iPhone to download the helper app.

    Run or open the app

    On desktop, click Run. On mobile, open the app after installation.

    Read the numbers to your helper

    You’ll see a code on your screen. Read it aloud so your Tech Helper can connect.

A small window opens and shows your access code. Your helper connects only with that code.

🔍 Test My RustDesk Connection

Before your first client session, use this quick test to confirm that RustDesk can connect successfully.

    Open RustDesk

    Launch RustDesk on your device and ensure you’re connected to the internet.

  2. 2

    Locate Your ID and Password

    They appear on the main RustDesk screen. Your ID looks like 123 456 789.

  3. 3

    Enter the EldersTree Test Device ID

    Enter the test ID below and click Connect. If it connects or prompts for a password, your setup works.

Test Device ID: 999 111 222

Password: test123 (if prompted)

Status: Should display “Waiting for accept” or “Connected.”
